LanGaKaWI .. The drunken hols :p LOL

Haha.. hey guys.. I have been missing for a long while again.. finally back to post more of my updates. Recently, went for a 4days 3 nights hols in Langkawi... This is my first time, never been there, didn't know how it would be like and so on... met a few of my good childhood friends and we went together, the 5 of us.So much to talk about and catching up to do. We actually planned this trip since Nov 2010!! Well, am so glad we did it :) Some of our parents warned us that we will all go for the trip as good friends, but may come back all as enemies!! LOL :p Thank god it didn't happen!

A few of them went to Langkawi for a couple of times, and the only thing that lingers in their mind about Langkawi is "Liquoring Haven" hahaha!!I don't drink, so definitely do not know how happy they have felt when we touched down to Langkawi and kissed the ground. First thing first, we rented a car in advance to help us go around the island. Once we collected the car, we went to check in our resort, which we got a superb room where once you open the door, you are looking at the sea, and a step away from the sandy beach! First stop thereafter, was the place they called "The Zon".... they were like humming "The Zon" melodiously through out the car ride, and I am still blur and have no clue at all what is it, .. after a few minutes of car ride, then I see it... " The Zon" hahahaha!! Duty free shopping place for liquor la! What else -_-lll Then, the getting drunk process begin.. and lasted till the very last min we were on that island ..LOL!

The few of the days we were there, it was practically pouring almost through out the day. And am glad it didn't stop us from having fun at all! We ran barefooted on the beach for morning jog in the rain, went island hopping in chopy boat ride a couple of hours, being attacked by monkey thinkin that I have food in my bag, hanging out late nights to dance in clubs till in the wee hours... and ofcourse, my friends getting tipsy and drunk almost...haha.. whole day I would say? :p

My HaNdSSsssSSSSsss!!

  My hands my hands...my poor hands... specially the fingers.. I was actually having bad skin allergy to something, which I have never thought of till it is proven again on my 2nd encounter.. Terrible! I had skin allergy on the skin around all my ten fingers a few weeks ago and the itch is so bad till parts of fingers blistered. When it finally cured, I was happy again and I am a craze over fashionable and beautiful nails. So, I touched up on my new gel polish that I have started a while ago last Thur night, only woken up by super itchy fingers in the middle of the night! It was so red and itchy, so I removed the gel nail polish immediately. The itchiness persists, and this time round it became much more stronger and harder to bear! Doc said usually skin allergy that came back if it is caused by the same thing, it will be 2x worse than the 1st and much faster in the effect! I even had to go to get a jab on my butt for the allergy....
  This was a new nail polish technology that I have just gotten hooked on to this recent months.. It is known as Gel colour that will only dries up with the UV light lamp shining on it for a few mins. This technology may be kind of new, however, many brands have arose from this. I actually gotten a so called, no brand top coat gel polish made from China, which is a few dollars cheaper than the better brand and started using it. Not knowing that it can cause harm to my fingers so quietly and never thought it can give me such painful problem and allergy. I never had this type of problems when I use the normal nail polish in so many years, and perhaps this one is different as it also involves UV light to dry it off. Hence, chemical reaction to the gel on my skin may have caused this.
  However, my fingers are now much better, still in the healing process. So, please take note that whenever purchase anything to be applied on to any parts of your body, please make sure you know the brand and there is stated ingredients on the product (mine does not have ingredient list).

I just noticed a photo of Angelababy and a photo of me that I took a few years ago looks so identical in the pose :p Love her so much! Love her looks, style, fashion and can't deny she is a not too bad actress :) How I wish I could be as successful as she is and being in the lime light, but ofcourse this is the bright side of hers that is visible to the public eyes. Looks flawless in every way.. but who knows, deep inside, what if there is something that she wanted most that is always out of her reach. On the other hand, what if the thing that she wanted most, is already in our hands or possessions.. So, every individual will always have the envious eyes on others, but may not realise what they already have, is the most priceless things in life.

How do we stay awake to read up important documents? To me, when it comes to theory, sort of deep dive, my eyes will start to blur and eyelids will seems to be feeling very sore.. eyes would be half open, and trying so hard to remain wide open...

But..... when it comes to play.. eyes are automatically wide open, and somewhat feel more fresh! Guess this is how our body and mind works. When things are exciting, the mind will send the message to your muscles on the entire body, and there will be adrenalin rush, you will not feel tired anymore.

So, this concludes... whenever you come across anything boring such as reading documents, try to find ways to make it feel that it is interesting, so you will never fall asleep by doing it! Well, conclusion is easy, but I have yet to find the idea to my conclusion  :p .... hehe.... yawns!! :s

Back home...

   Willingness to wake up early mornings and staying out late nights for the beloved foodies :p Somehow I can never find all these else where, or perhaps, I can find these food elsewhere, but it just don't seem to taste the same.. the unique flavours of origin :) In the mornings, my favourite place to go to for breakfast is the nasi lemak at Jalan J, in Taman Melawati, KL... Love it so much!! I have discovered this nasi lemak place all the way back 17years ago.. and I am still going there consistently for breakfast everytime I am back to KL. Their "sambal" cockles is by far my #1 top list, which I have yet to discover else where that is better than this! Everytime when am back for the weekend to KL, my friends would automatically offer to bring me there for breakfast... even the stall lady remembers me because I will always sweep all her remaining sambal cockles onto my empty plate as breakfast. This is not all, I will also pack extra packs of whatever remaining sambal cockles and bring it back to Singapore with me!! hahah... so crazy!! Well, that's what all my friends said to me when it comes to the sambal cockles in Jalan J :p
    And when it comes to supper, my favourite place is nasi lemak at BRJ in Wangsa Maju, where it is still the famous hang out supper place for most TAR college students and people all around. Their fried chicken is the best!! The strong flavours of tumeric powder, spice, curry leaf, and the crunchy juicy chicken on every bite!! hmmmm.... I just had it last night! :p So happy... :) The stall keeper here also seems to recognise me and remember my favourite order.. which is " nasi lemak ayam, tak nak nasi" :p haha.. for the new waiter from the stall, they will get confuse of my request.. What I meant is I only want the fried chicken, sambal, egg and cucumber... so it is just as good as, nasi lemak with chicken, but without the rice! :p hahaha.... So so delicious....can even taste better than KFC! haha...well, that is my personal opinion :) This place has been tagged as "Shirley's favourite supper place" :p Guess most of my supper kaki knows that :)
   It has been a while since I came back, a weekend is never enough..but at least I enjoyed every single moment everytime when I am back here :)

I have just realised something..which I didn't want to admit.. a sudden rush of mixed feelings, confusion, sadness and lost.. The power of FB makes me realise this.. I feel that I have not let go of my past since I moved to Singapore. All in my mind and heart is still lingering with all the events and moments that I have had in my life before I moved to Singapore... and it just seems to stop there, without me realising it..but I just happened to take time to look at the photos and updates of all my friends back home, and this is when I realised that everyone has moved on .. except me. A sudden sadness rushed over me, I just didn't know how to react... except feeling the sadness. It is time for me to recollect myself and to move forward finally..I have been lingering in my past for 6 years..
 How can this be? Is this the effect of leaving everything behind.. or is it just me? :(
